Remap Back to Stock in Chester
Sometimes you need a car returned to its original factory map, before a service, a warranty visit or a sale. We save the original file for every car we tune, so putting it back to standard is quick and leaves the car exactly as it was.
When people need it
The usual reasons are dealer or warranty work, selling the car on, or simply changing your mind about the tune. All of them are fine, and none of them are a problem. Your car, your call.
How it works
We flash the original manufacturer map back on, so the car is exactly as it left the factory. If we tuned it, we already have your file on record. If another garage did the work, we can usually still read and restore the standard map for you.

Can you return a remap another garage did?
Usually, yes. We can read the car and restore the standard factory map even if we did not do the original tune.
Does it leave any trace?
The car goes back to running the standard factory file. If you need it fully as-standard for a warranty or sale, tell us and we will make sure it is.
How long does it take?
Normally same day, and often under an hour once the car is with us.
